After two years of grand success, the Hyderabad Bengali Film Festival is back for its third edition. As always, eight films have been carefully chosen to ensure the right balance of variety and emphasis on a range of spectrums. Curated by Ratnottama Sengupta, a noted film critic who is also renowned for her writings on art, culture and cinema; the festival promises to be as vibrant as it will be informative.
The titles for this year being "Cinemawalla", "Onyo Apala", "Anubroto Bhalo Acho?", "Natoker Moto", "Asa Jaowar Majhe", and "Babar Naam Gandhiji". Additionally, we are proud and honored to premier two films-"Kolkatar King" and "Bridge".
Conquering new frontiers, we are introducing a Viewers' Choice Award for the first time in the history of HBFF. Now YOU, the audience, will get to vote for the best movie among the selection and be instrumental in appreciating the efforts of the cast and crew in making it.
