Awards in HBFF 2017

All the five films have recieved the love of junta... The discussions were engaging, constructive and people got engrossed to it. That's the major success of our festival as we aim to create awareness for good films. We want to help understand the audience to look at the same film from different point of views and appreciate the same. We believe that we have been able to do it, though a long way to go.

This year the competition was very tough in all the categories and it was photo finish in deed...
The 5 films in competition section were:
1. Abby Sen by Atanu Ghosh

                              Awards in HBFF 2016

HBFF has introduced Viewers Choice Award and Critics Award in different categories, in its 3rd edition in 2016. Viewers have voted for the most liked performances & movies, after watching the film and interacting with directors and producers who have presented the films. The process has been monitored and audited by 3 Jury Members from Film Critics Circle of India (FCCI). The Jury have also nominated two performances and awarded them from FCCI.

Team HBFF believes that all are winners with their honest efforts and hard works. The idea is to offer a platform to all the stakeholders (film makers, audience & critics) to discuss the nuances of this multidisciplinary art and inspire everyone in all the ways possible.
